Transitions Youth Worker
My name is Jordyn and I am a Transitions Youth Worker, my role is helping young people that have been in care transition back to whanau/independency.
I am a proud Tokelauan/Maori born and raised in Rotorua with 3 beautiful kids who mean the world to me.
I have a strong passion for working with youth as I enjoy helping people and seeing them achieve their goals and be happy. I enjoy sports mainly rugby/league and golf, I believe sports is an awesome avenue or tool that youth can use to build relationships and feel apart of something. Hey I’m Fem and my partner in crime is Scooby.
I am a nurse but do a few different things at the youth centre. My main job is co-ordinating and delivering Mates and Dates which is a sexual violence prevention and healthy relationship program which we run in the schools.More about Fem
