Ko Matawhaura te Maunga, Ko Rotoiti te Roto, Ko Ngati Pikiao te Hapu, Ko Te Arawa te Waka, Ko Te Arawa te Iwi.
Born and bred in Rotorua I love this place I call home! I am lucky enough to be the Registered Social worker for our organisation.I have been here in this role for 5 years.
I enjoy supporting young people through their journey in which we call life. Sometimes life can be unfair, so I support young people to help them overcome barriers and to create a life they can be proud of and enjoy. I am privileged to witness young people flourish and become the person they desire.
I am also fortunate to be a Mates and Dates Facilitator, this program is designed to help educate young people about Sexual violence prevention. I enjoy working in high schools helping young people to understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships. We also offer support and knowledge on how to support those in unhealthy relationships.
I am very lucky to meet and work with amazing young people!
In case you needed a reminder, Tough times don’t last, Tough people do!
I look forward to meeting you should our paths cross 😊
